You
will probably be viewing my site in the quest to improve your relationship
with your dog. Or thinking of becoming a dog owner for the first
time. Sometimes our pet dogs show unacceptable behaviour and we
cannot see why or yet understand the reason they are behaving this
way. Maybe your dog is jumping up at people, not coming back when
called, chewing your possessions, pulling you on the lead, barking
at everything! Are you avoiding walks because your dog has taken
a dislike to other dogs? Maybe your dog is growling and showing
aggression when you try to go near his dinner or toys? Or maybe
you just want your dog to learn to sit, lay down, stay, come when
called and fetch your slippers. Perhaps you just need advice on
choosing the right dog for you. Or you need to start right with
a new puppy. These are just a few of the reasons you are looking
at my site, there are plenty more.

as I have in owning happy, well behaved dogs. I am presently

What
do I do?
I
specialize in training owners and their pet dogs and work on
a One to One basis in their own homes or mine
and local open spaces.
I feel it is so important to deal with any problems at the root
and that usually starts at home, this is where you and your
dog spend the majority of time and this is where I can assess
and gain a true picture of the relationship between owner and
dog. ……
I
abide by the PAACT code
of conduct "All
members must agree to use humane positive reinforcement training
techniques, to produce informed, caring owners, with the aim
of achieving as far as possible, well socialised, well behaved
dogs and good citizens on both ends of the leash.PAACT opposes
the use of punitive techniques and equipment such as, check,
choke, prong, spike collars, electronic collars"
Dog
training is an investment for the rest of your dogs days and the
lives of all dogs you may own in the future.
The
best gift you can give your dog is to learn to speak Canine!
Have
you ever thought about travelling abroad with your dog?
How
do you get a passport for your dog?
The
answer to these questions and more are in my client John Wright's
amusing and delightful tales of travelling abroad with Telfie
his Springer Spaniel.
When
a sudden change in your dogs behaviour occurs especially with
signs of aggression, it is advisable to seek the advice of
a qualified veterinary surgeon to rule out any medical problems
before embarking on a behavioural programme.
